Hello, fellow bibliophiles! I'm creating this blog for two reasons:
1. So I can keep track of books and authors that I've read and like, and
2. So I can share this information with my fellow readers!
My url is "Heather's Books on the Beach" because I'll be reviewing light, entertaining fiction. These books will be
(1) clean - no sex or excess of foul language or gratuitous violence
(2) What I like to call "escapist literature" - books designed to transport you from your present reality into an alternate reality where, ultimately, everyone lives happily ever after.
Essentially, these are some good books to read at the beach, or just before you fall asleep at night when you're trying to clear your mind of all the days events and stop your brain from worrying about tomorrow. Books that give you something pleasant and light-hearted to think about. I hope you enjoy this site! Feel free to leave suggestions for more books for me to review in the comments. Happy reading!
